Misen (弥山 / Mt.Misen) is a mountain of 535 m in the center of Miyajima. It is popular as a sacred place of Miyajima faith since long ago.   If you climb a mountain, let's go with athletic shoes!

This is a set ticket of ferry and ropeway "Miyajima Misen Enjoy ticket (宮島弥山エンジョイチケット)" ¥1,800 yen.

The final ropeway is 17:00. If you are late for this, you have to walk down the mountain by walking.

The first ropeway is a four-seater ride. * Maximum 6 people can ride

This is a circulation formula ropeway.

The ride time of the first ropeway is 10 minutes.

At 'Kayatani station (榧谷駅)', transfer to the large ropeway and arrive at 'Shishi iwa station (獅子岩)' in 4 minutes. * The operation interval is about 15 minutes.

It is 1km from 'Shishi iwa station (獅子岩)' to the mountaintop.

There is a little dangerous road.

This is the Misen (弥山) temple.

Misen Hondo (弥山本堂).

There is a "Reikado Hall (霊火堂)" on the other side of the 'Misen Hondo (弥山本堂)'.

The fire when Kobo Daishi (弘法大師) performed "training" in 806 is still not disappeared.

When you climb this steep staircase, there is "Sankido (三鬼堂)".

There is no detailed guide board in this area.
