'Izumo Taisha (出雲大社)' is famous good matchmaking spot. So, many people come here to pray for a good relationship.   On this page, we will introduce the means of transportation from Matsue Station to Izumo Taisha (出雲大社) in photographs!

Start 'Matsue Shinjiko-Onsen Station (松江しんじ湖温泉駅)'.
It takes about 40 minutes to walk from Matsue station to here.

AM 7:24.   Get on 'Ichibata railway (一畑電鉄)' bound for 'Dentetsu Izumo City (電鉄出雲市行き)'.

Matsue Shinjiko-Onsen Station (松江しんじ湖温泉駅).

This train is "Shimanekko-go (しまねっこ号)".

Cat (mascot character in Shimane) in japanese, is 'Neko'.
Shimane + Neko + kko (native word) = Shimanekko (しまねっこ).

Arrive at 8:12 'Kawato Station (川跡駅)'.   And transit a next to platform.

Train was already arrived there, Please transfer to the next train. *depart for after 2min.

Wow, Shimanekko (しまねっこ) satting down the seat on the first car of this train.

Arrive at 8:25 'Izumo Taisha Mae Station (出雲大社前駅)'.   This 'Izumo Taisha Mae Station' is the last stop on the Line.

Izumo area are lots of illustrations like this.

'Izumo Taisha Mae Station (出雲大社前駅)' building was registered as a Tangible Cultural Property of country in 1996.

The station is a modern western style building.

The station opened on February 2, 1930.
One-storied of ferro concrete. And the semicircular roof shape is characteristic.

The road in front of station called 'Shinmon-dori (神門通り / street)', crowded anytime.

There are two cute rabbits. This is Gemstone accessory shop.

'Seidamari (勢溜)' is road of approach to a Izumo Taisha shrine (出雲大社).
after 9am, seems many people walk here.
