'Miho Jinja (美保神社)' is enshrined the 'Kotoshironusi no kami (事代主神)', called 'Ebisu (恵比寿)'.
when you goes both Izumo Taisha (出雲大社) and 'Miho Jinja (美保神社)', benefit will up more. because Daikoku (god of Izumo Taisha) and Ebisu (god of Miho Jinja) came to be believed as being a parent and a child.

'MihonoSeki (美保関)' located in edge of shimane peninsula, is about 1h from Matsue Station by Bus.

'NinoTorii (二ノ鳥居 / Second Torii) and 'Shagou Hyou (社号標)'.

'Shagou Hyou (社号標)' indicates the name of the shrine written on the stone.

On the left side of the precincts (境内) there is a Temizusha (手水舎 / Hand-wash Place).

and the right side, storehouse (収蔵庫).

Manner of Temizusha (手水舎)

* In this process, carried out with one dipper-full of water!!

1. Put water in "Ladle" which is placed in the Temizuya.
2. Holding Ladle in your right hand, wash your left hand.
3. next, wash your right hand.
4. Put water in the left hand and move to mouth, wash the mouth.
5. Hold the Ladle vertically so remaining water runs down and clean the handle.

This is a general usage Manner.

This is 'Shin-mon Gate (神門)'. 'Shin-mon Gate' is as gate of the gods area.

This is 'Haiden (拝殿)', was see from 'Shin-mon Gate (神門)'.

'Haiden (拝殿)' is structure by Hinoki tree.
In this 'Haiden (拝殿)' is not exists walls, and visible the beam is characteristic.

Miho Jinja (美保神社) manner of worship

1. Let's put a coin in the saisen box.
2. Twice, bow your head and let's say a deep greeting.
3. Match your hands at the chest height, clap two times, and pray to the god.
4. Finally, let's bow again and say a deep greeting once.

The 'Kairo (廻廊 /corridor)' is right side of Shin-mon (Gate).

'Otama ishi (御霊石)' as stone, found by fisherman. and seems to benefit birth.

Here is a 'Massha (末社 / subordinate shrine)'.

Miyamisakisha (宮御前社) , MiyakouJinja (宮荒神社) , Funatamasha (船霊社) , Inarisha' (稲荷社).

Honden (本殿)...   'Ogozen (大御前)' is enshrined 'Mihotsuhime nomikoto (三穂津姫命)' at the right side.

'Ninogozen (二御前)' is enshrined 'Kotoshironusi no kami (事代主神)' at the left side.

'Goshinchiku (御神竹)', bamboo that is said to have been born of the god's seed.

Ema (絵馬) drawn bream that mouth holds rice plant .

'Juyosho (授与所 / amulet reception counter)' and Pray reception.

This shrine is general headquarters of enshrined the god Ebisu (恵比寿), all of the country.

Felt to be a changed atmosphere, after through the 'Shin-mon Gate (神門)'.
