Matsumoto-jo (松本城 / Matsumoto Castle) is a symbol of Matsumoto-shi designated as a National Treasure in 1936.
The surrounding area is maintained as a Matsumoto castle park, and about 300 cherry blossoms blooming surrounding the castle and moat are seen and many people visit each year.
Matsumoto-jo (松本城) is located about 15 minutes on foot from Matsumoto Station.
Although it is not a very beautiful picture, we are glad if it becomes a reference for your sightseeing.
"Tenshu (天守 /castle tower)" and "Inui Kotenshu (乾小天守)" are designated as National Treasures.
