Kiyosumi Teien (清澄庭園) is the Japanese garden which was first designated as "Tokyo prefecture scenic spot". This garden is a wonderful garden that Tokyo is proud of worldwide, in a style called "Kaiyūshiki Ronsen Teien (回遊式林泉庭園)".

Kiyosumi Teien (清澄庭園) is about 3 minutes on foot from 'Kiyosumi Shirakawa Station (清澄白河駅)' on subway Hanzomon-line.

The entrance fee of 150yen is very cheap.

This is called "Shishiodoshi (ししおとし)".

Welcome to the wonderful "Japanese garden" where you can appreciate at 150 yen.

There are three islands in Ooizumisui (大泉水).

The symbol "Ryōtei (涼亭)" in this garden emphasizes the taste of Japan.

This is "Isowatari (磯渡り)".

A stone bridge (石橋) using a very big stone.

That puts a big stone at the edge of the pond and allows you to walk there... Isowatari (磯渡り).

Matsushima (松島). The shape of the pine is wonderful!

There are many stone bridges here.

There are lots of turtles and 'huge carp' in the pond.

"Mountain lantern (山灯篭)" with an interesting shape.

"Ryōtei (涼亭)" which is made to protrude in a pond.

There is "Freedom Square" on the back side of Ryōtei (涼亭).

Sakura (Cherry blossoms) and irises bloom at the free square.

The trees reflected on the surface of the water are beautiful...

This garden has plenty of rare stones gathered from all over Japan.

A wide sky...

Naka no shima (中の島).

The bridge over the "Naka no shima (中の島)".

The walking path is beautifully maintained.

There is also a big "Isowatari (磯渡り)" in the northeast of the garden.

Isowatari (磯渡り) and Ryōtei (涼亭).

In recent years, foreign tourists visiting here seem to be increasing little by little.

As it is not a very famous district, perhaps, many people may not yet know about this place...

Subway 'Hanzomon-line (半蔵門線)' goes through Shibuya and Omotesando.

Hanzomon-line also passes Otemachi station (Imperial Palace) and Kudanshita station (Yasukuni Jinja Shrine).

Please go to another sightseeing spot and come here as well!

In this garden, because the pond is wide, the sky and the scenery are wide, there is an opening feeling from any angle, you can enjoy the scenery without tired!
