Autumn leaves period : middle of November to early December
The Tonogayato Garden (殿ヶ谷戸庭園) is a popular Japanese garden with beautiful autumn leaves scenery. The view from the top of the hill is wonderful!
Tonogayato Garden (殿ヶ谷戸庭園) is located just outside JR Kokubunji Station (South Exit).

The opening hours are 9:00 -17:00.
The admission fee is 150 yen for adults.
This Japanese garden opened in 1979.
In recent years, it seems that foreign tourists are increasing little by little.

There is "kōyō-tei (紅葉亭)" in a slightly high place.
"kōyō-tei (紅葉亭)" is very popular. The front row chair has a high competition rate.
The Honkan (本館 / main building) is a Western-style building built in 1945.
There is a small waterfall in the "Jirō Benten ike (次郎弁天池 / Jirō Benten Pond)".
