At Ueda jōshi Kōen (上田城跡公園 / Ueda Castle Ruins Park), "Ueda-jo Senbon zakura Matsuri (上田城千本桜まつり / 1000 cherry blossom festivals)" is held every spring, about 1,000 cherry blossoms are in bloom, tourists visiting will be happy.
Ueda jōshi Kōen (上田城跡公園 / Ueda Castle Ruins Park) is located about 15 steps on foot from Ueda station.
