Senbon Torii (thousands of torii gates) is also in Tokyo!
"Otome Inari Jinja (乙女稲荷神社)" is next to Nezu Jinja Shrine (根津神社). Because there are many "red toriis", it is famous. "Fushimi Inari Taisha" of Kyoto is the most famous, but "similar scenery" is seen only a little in Tokyo.
On the left side of the 'Ro-mon Gate (楼門)' there is the entrance of "Senbon Torii (千本鳥居)".
we will glad you when refered in sight-seeing.

Photograph will be posted in order from the "Kita sando (北参道 / north entrance)".
This is a torii gate in 'Kita sando (北参道 / north entrance)'.
This is the backside of the Nezu Jinja Shrine's (根津神社) Shaden (社殿).
If you have a suitcase, please avoid this road.
These are few part of many 'Otome Inari Jinja Shrine (乙女稲荷神社)' photos.
This is "Komagome Inari Jinja Shrine (駒込稲荷神社)".
It is a small shrine, but a lot of Gods are enshrined.
Komagome Inari Jinja Shrine (駒込稲荷神社) manner of worship
There used to be a 'stone torii (石鳥居)' before, but he seems to have collapsed in the Great East Japan Earthquake (3.11).
The right side of this torii is "Komagome Inari Jinja Shrine (駒込稲荷神社)". The left side is "Otome Inari Jinja (乙女稲荷神社)".
There are a few red torii.
There is a stone buddha in the corner of the shrine.
A monkey is carved on this stone.

A lot of "red torii" stand next to the Shaden (社殿).
The Nishi-mon gate (西門) of the "Sukibei (透塀 /openwork wall)" of Nezu Jinja Shrine (根津神社).
A small torii opposite the Nishi-mon gate (西門 / west gate).
The torii is continued!
Red torii and pink torii.
The fact that there are many torii is proof that people's wish has come true.
Many people dedicate torii to the shrine for the gratitude.

Entrance of Senbon Torii (thousands of torii gates).
Compared with Fushimi Inari Taisha (伏見稲荷大社) in Kyoto, it is a little thin and "short in height" Torii.
The photograph was taken from 2014 to 2016.
The senbon Torii (千本鳥居) is the way "wishes of people who dedicated torii" is put. For that reason, a strict atmosphere is drifting. Please not only take pictures, but feel such air !!
