Let's go see a tengu (天狗)!
The moment your eyes meet the Tengu (天狗), the air may change!
If the timing is good, you can taste the special atmosphere that sounds of sutra and drums echo. That is Takaosan Yakuōin Temple (高尾山薬王院).
Daihondo (大本堂).
Aizendo (愛染堂). Here you can make wishes related to love.
WagoKangitenDo (和合歓喜天堂).
TaishiDo (太子堂).
There are 88 body mini statues.
Enmei Jizoson (延命地蔵尊). Please pray for longevity.
"Ōtengu (大天狗)" has a special power, so it is said that "the nose is high."
Although it is not small, it is "Shō tengu (小天狗 / small tengu)".
Tengu is a legendary creature. This is Shō tengu (小天狗).
here is "steep stairs" on the left side of "Daihondo (大本堂)".
It is a rather steep staircase.
On top of the stairs you will find "Gohonsha (御本社)".

There is a "statue of Tengu" on the left and right of the "Gohonsha (御本社)".
Is this 'Ōtengu (大天狗 /big tengu)'...? 'Shō tengu (小天狗 / small tengu)' ...? you already understand?
This is the temple precincts (境内), but there is a shrine.
Tengu sha (天狗社).
Geta (wooden clogs) are dedicated. Like a tengu, I hope my legs will be strong too!
Fukutoku Inari (福徳稲荷). Let's pray for '商売繁盛 (success of business)'.

"Shugyo Daishido (修行大師堂)". Let's pray for your studies.
Let's go to the mountaintop by going through before of "Juyosho (授与所 / amulet reception counter)" next to the Gohonsha (御本社).
Okunoin (奥の院). Takaosan Fudoudo (高尾山不動堂). "Fudo-Myoo (不動明王)" in enshrined.
Sengensha (浅間社). It is in the high place in the precincts of the Yakuōin Temple (薬王院).
Finally once again... 'Ōtengu (大天狗 /big tengu)' who has high nose and strong god power.。
