Kokyo Higashi Gyoen (皇居東御苑) is a valuable place surrounded by greenery and you can visit historical historic sites for free. And there is also a Japanese garden!

On the east side there is an viewing platform.

If you look at this picture you will know the size of the "Honmaru Tenshudai (本丸天守台)".

There is a "Kitahane bashi-mon Gate (北桔橋門)" on the back side of this "Honmaru Tenshudai (本丸天守台)".

Let's go down "Shiomi-zaka Slope (汐見坂)" from "Honmaru Tenshudai (本丸天守台)" to "Ninomaru area".

Hirakawa-mon gate (平川門) side has "Bairin-zaka Slope (梅林坂 / Plum-grove Slope)". About 50 plums are blooming in February.
