Hama Rikyu Onshi Teien (浜離宮恩賜庭園) is a typical 'Daimyo garden (大名庭園)' in the Edo era and features a beautiful "Shioiri no ike (潮入の池)". While being in the city center of Tokyo, it has a large area, there are many places of interest such as 'pine tree of 300 years', wide pond, flower garden.

Otemon Bridge (大手門橋). Entrance of Hama Rikyu Onshi Teien (浜離宮恩賜庭園) is a 5-minute walk from Shiodome Station (汐留駅) and Tsukiji Shijo Station (築地市場駅).

It is located about 10 minutes from Shimbashi station (新橋駅).

Otemon Gate (大手門). The heavy stone walls are those of the Edo period.

The entrance fee is 300 yen in general.

Entering from the main gate, you can see immediately "300 year pine (三百年の松)". Its size is overwhelming.

Enter from the Otemon Gate (大手門) and let's walk around the park in a clockwise direction.

The site of "Enryo-kan (延遼館)" has become a lawn open space.

In the spring, irises and wisteria will bloom.

In autumn , the red "Higambana (red spider lily)" will bloom.

There are many fine gravel roads in the garden. If possible, please wear sports shoes and go out.

This is the "Nakano gomon gate (中の御門 / inside gate)".

located behind Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo Shiodome.

When walking a little from the "Nakano gomon (中の御門 / inside gate)", you can see "Shioiri no ike (潮入の池)".

"Shioiri no ike (潮入の池)" is the style of the pond used in the seaside garden.

The name of the bridge is "Otsutai bashi (お伝い橋)".
The house built on the pond is a resting place called "Nakajima no Ochaya (中島の御茶屋)".

This little mountain is "Onchi yama Hill (御亭山)".

A small bridge is "Naka no hashi (中の橋)".
In the spring, Sakura (Cherry blossoms) bloom on both sides of the bridge.

The opposite direction of the "Shioiri no ike (潮入の池)".
