A shrine wrapped in dignified air
"Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen jinja (北口本宮冨士浅間神社)" at the foot of Fujisan (Mt.Fuji) is also the entrance to the Mt.Fuji climbing path, famous as a shrine with a power of God strong. In order to quell the eruption of Mt.Fuji, it was erected at the direction of the Emperor of that time.

On both sides of the 'Haiden (拝殿)' there is a "Goshinboku (Sacred tree)" whose age is over 1000 years old.
This is the foremost Goshinboku (ご神木 / Sacred tree) "Fujitaro Sugi (富士太郎杉 / cedar trees)".
"Fujitaro Sugi (富士太郎杉 / cedar trees)" is a large cedar tree with a trunk circumference of 8.2m and a base around 21m.
On the left side of the 'Haiden (拝殿)' there is a 奉納酒樽 (Sake dedicated to the shrine).
Very old "Dedication Board (奉納額)". *Board on which the name of the dedicated person is engraved
There is a big tengu (天狗) mask in the center of the 'Haiden (拝殿)'.
There are many student cram schools where studying camps are held in the vicinity, and many students visit "合格祈願 (success of entrance exams)".
On the right side of 'Haiden (拝殿)', there is a fourth "Goshinboku (Sacred tree)". It is a large cedar tree of over 1,000 years old, with a trunk circumference of 17m.
This is "Tōgu Honden (東宮本殿)". It is the oldest shrine in this precinct.
There is "Ebisusha (恵比寿社)" just behind the Honden (本殿).
This is "Suwa Jinja Shrine (諏訪神社)". It is a shrine with a very old history.
Honden (本殿) was rebuilt in 1976. It is designated as a cultural property of Fujiyoshida City.
On this day, the repair work of the "Shimenawa (注連縄)" in the 'Haiden (拝殿)' was done. *The end of March
